Born and raised on the beach in Los Angeles, California, Marissa brings a west coast calm and sensibility to the fast paced, high-energy worlds of media and communications.
Determined not to stray more than a few feet from the nearest ocean, Marissa attended the University of San Diego, earning degrees in Political Science and Mass Media Communications. In 2001, she received her Master’s Degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California and moved to Europe to work in international analyst relations for the largest public relations firm in the world.
Marissa returned to California in 2002 and began consulting for the luxury lifestyle markets, specializing in brand development and media relations. Before long, she built up a diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 companies, celebrated designers, and cutting edge entrepreneurs. Her work and clients have been featured in the top tier of national broadcast and print publications around the world.
Propelled by a desire to transform her generation of business stars into relationship and communication masters, Marissa founded the DiMaggio Group, Inc. in 2006 and set about to create a company where substance and style exist in perfect harmony.
An accomplished writer and public speaker, Marissa resides in Orange County, California with a fully stocked wine cabinet, numerous handbags and many, many pairs of shoes.
